Weather permitting, during the first two weeks of October, the water company will be flushing the hydrants throughout the system. During this work you may experience lower pressure or some air in your water which can turn the water a little white. Due to an EMERGENCY IN THE WATER SYSTEM, residents on Crows Nest Rd. and Sleepy Hollow Rd. from no. 52 to 62 will be without water from 8:30 a.m. until the repairs are complete (approximately 4 – 5 hours). We apologize for any inconvenience and urge you to put some water aside for use during this period.

At 8:15 p.m., a resident of Forest Lakes Dr. called advise us that they did not have any water. Our repair person was called and responded immediately. He ascertained that fuses on JCP&L’s line were blown and called to advise them of the problem.
He started the generator and all residents had water within 45 minutes. JCP&L repaired the problem at approximately 12:30 a.m.
